Ella Miller (she/her) is an award-winning multimedia journalist and editor who specializes in sharing the stories of rural, 2SLGBTQIA+ and disabled folks.

You can find her journalism in magazines and newspapers across Canada, including bylines in Briarpatch, This Magazine, Ontario Nature Magazine, The Otter, Herizons, The Review-Mirror and more.

As an editor Ella has served as editor in chief of the Toronto Abnormal School and the Review of Journalism, as well as managing editor of CanCulture magazine and All of Time, All of Space zine.

You’ll know it’s an Ella Miller story by its compelling characters, rigorous research and fact checking and community-based approach.

Outside of the world of journalism Ella is passionate about protecting fandom spaces, internet archeology, artist alleys and cats.

She is originally from the backwoods of Eastern Ontario.
